This month sees yet more additions to the Regus network, with new centre openings across the world including a harbour-side development in Reykjavik and a ‘smart’ building in Rotterdam

1. Trading up
Regus Zhenfeng, Shanghai, China

If you want to be in good company, you’re in the right place – more than a hundred Fortune 500 subsidiaries can be found in the area of Regus Zhenfeng, now one of 132 centres in China. Its offices, meeting rooms and coworking spaces occupy a landmark development in the country’s first free-trade zone, which is close to China’s largest port in terms of container volume and a stone’s throw from major subway lines. Within easy reach is the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, home to a number of innovation companies pioneering in software and biomedicine, while major hotels such as the Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel and international banks HSBC, Bank of Shanghai and Bank of East Asia are also nearby.

2. Future-proofing
Regus Emerald Tower, Astana, Kazakhstan

The Kazakhstan capital is known for its futuristic skyline, fashioned by the likes of leading architects Norman Foster and Kisho Kurokawa, and at Regus Emerald Tower, you’ll be right in the heart of it. Inside the city’s tallest building, there are a wide selection of offices, a pair of luxurious meeting rooms and flexible co-working areas all available to fulfil your business needs. There is also high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour access and secure, CCTV-monitored parking. At the nearby Asia Park shopping mall, there’s a Fitness First gym should you fancy a lunch-break work-out and several fashionable restaurants such as Skybar, which offers panoramic views of the city. Also within reach are the Kulanshi Art Centre and National Museum of Kazakhstan, two wonderful cultural sites worth exploring after work.

3. Regus Mahaj Hay Ryad, Rabat, Morocco

Coupled with the recent opening in Casablanca, Regus continues to expand its real-estate footprint in Morocco.  The striking modernist structure that’s home to the Regus Mahaj Hay Ryad is at the centre of Rabat’s Hay Ryad business district, one of Morocco’s leading commercial powerhouses. Inside the angular walls of this hyper-modern building, you’ll find offices, co-working spaces and meeting rooms, each with a zippy high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Access to the building is impressively secure. Step outside and you’ll find yourself on the central thoroughfare of Avenue Annakhil and within easy access of Rabat Agdal train station.

4. Tried and tested
Regus Business Centre, Nazareth, Israel

Nazareth is one of the most vibrant commercial areas in Israel and a location favoured by blue-chip companies such as Microsoft and Cisco, meaning the new Regus Business Centre offers great networking opportunities, with its plethora of offices, meeting rooms and co-working lounges. All are air-conditioned and well-lit, with super-fast Wi-Fi connection, and easy access to Nazareth’s city-centre shopping mall and the Museum of Ancient Nazareth, should you wish to delve into the city’s compelling history. Travelling to and from the centre is straightforward – there’s a bus station across the road, and the city of Haifa is just a 45-minute drive away.

5. The view from the top
Regus Kurax Sendai, Sendai, Japan

From the windows of the Regus Kurax Sendai  you can look down on the bustling streets of Sendai’s Ichibancho district. Inside you’ll find a fantastic variety of modern offices, co-working areas and meeting rooms and is now host to a number of IT-based companies as a result of subsidies for local enterprise. The striking, black-clad building sits next door to the Aoba-Dori Ichibancho subway station, and there’s a bus stop a few moments away. There’s also no shortage of hotels nearby including Hotel Bel Air Sendai and Hotel Monterey Sendai, and the city’s verdant West Park is a calming antidote to the surrounding urban jungle. Get your culture fix at Sendai’s historic sites, such as the War Reconstruction and Memorial Hall and the Tohoku University Archives. Elsewhere, Regus is enjoying rapid growth across Japan, including major hubs such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama and Sapporo.

6. The sea view
Regus Harbour Square, Reykjavik, Iceland

Reykjavik’s harbour area has recently been the site of a major building project, with the construction of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as residential apartments and modern office spaces. And that’s where you’ll find Regus Harbour Square. Its offices, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and business lounge sit right on the waterfront, overlooking the Harpa Concert Hall & Conference Centre to the north, the harbour area to the west, a pedestrian area to the south, and historical and administrative buildings along with the Laugavegur shopping street to the east.

7. A quiet place
Regus Darmstaedter Landstrasse, Frankfurt, Germany

Away from the bustle of the city centre, you’ll be able to fully concentrate on your work at the Regus Darmstaedter Landstrasse, located in a sought-after district in southern Frankfurt, which is home to the likes of Ogilvy, Telefonica and Twentieth Century Fox Germany. The offices, co-working spaces and conference rooms in this seven-storey structure all have a building-wide, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, as well as affable and attentive support staff. For an after-work tipple, head to the Binding brewery just across the road for a tasting, or if you’re hankering after art and culture, you’re just a short drive from the world-class museums of Frankfurt’s Museumsufer (Museum riverbank), including the Staedel, which houses works by Warhol, Monet and Van Gogh.

8. A capital idea
Regus Bromley South, London, UK

Strategically located in the commercial centre of London’s largest boroughs, Regus Bromley South has working spaces and immaculate private offices over five floors. The property is easy to reach by both train and bus, and is within minutes of Glades commercial centre, home to quick and easy lunch spots like Carluccio’s or Belgo.  If your schedule allows, visit Britain’s famous fighter station, the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum, just a few minutes away on foot or hop in a cab to the thought-provoking Bethlem Museum of the Mind, which, opened by acclaimed British artist Grayson Perry, charts the history of mental healthcare and treatment.

9. The smarter choice
Regus Willemswerf, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Housed in a dramatic, glass-and-concrete-encased skyscraper beside one of Europe’s longest rivers, the Regus Willemswerf features lavishly appointed communal areas, with a coffee shop and luxury restaurant in the lobby, a unique wooden spiral staircase and spectacular views across the city. Within 10 minutes’ walk, you’ll find a number of attractions including the Maritime Museum and the Mariniermuseum, which pays homage to the work done by the city’s marines in the Second World War. The office space is also within easy reach of Willemswerf bus station, and Blaak metro stop, just 400 metres away.

10. Home to the stars
Regus SPE Tower, Bangkok, Thailand

Located on the tenth floor of a prestigious building that was the home of Michelin in Thailand for more than 20 years, the Regus SPE Tower gives you the chance to base your business in the Phaya Thai district in the centre of Bangkok. Here you’ll find flexible solutions to all your workspace needs, with co-working lounges, private offices and open-plan meeting rooms all available. In the surrounding area you’ll find a neighbourhood filled with shops and restaurants, including Soi Aree, home to a huge range of street vendors, cafés and restaurants. Or if you’re interested in absorbing some Thai culture, take a trip to the nearby Royal Elephant National Museum.
